Father's Love Letter

The words you are about to experience are true. They will change your life if you let them. For they come from the heart of God. He loves you and He is the Father you have been looking for all your life. This is His love letter to you.

The End of the Road

Have you come to the end of the road? It's quite a journey, maybe you had your life planned out and set goals that you hoped to achieve in your life. Only to find a few years later that things didn't go as planned! Leaving you with questions like "What went wrong?" and "Why did this have to happen to me?". I'm sure many of us can relate to this. It's interesting to note that the Bible speaks about this saying:

"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all." Ecclesiastes 9:11 So what happens when everything we put our hope and trust in fails? What happens when all our hard work and effort has gone in vein? What do we do? Some will pretend like everything will be ok and keep going. Others might feel self pity for themselves and give up all hope. While others will stop and reassess where they went wrong and learn from the experience.

Unforeseen circumstances in our life can be difficult to plan for,
especially when those circumstances are out of our control. Often
times we will do all when can to make sure everything goes to plan, but when things are out of our control, that's when life gets tough!

Maybe you can relate to what I'm saying, perhaps your going through something that's out of your control.

Your business is failling, your marriage is on the rocks, the
promotion you were promised was given to someone else, you can't get out of debt, your kids are going a stray, etc.

You basically feel like you have come to the end of the road.
Everything you tried to do has failed. To make things worse, your wife has lost faith in you, your friends have abandoned you, your finances are at an all time low and your in debt! So what do you do, you do what you think is best, you go to a bar and drown your sorrows with alcohol. Sure it makes you feel good for a while, you suddenly don't feel the pain in your heart from all your sorrows until closing time comes and you have to go home to sleep. The next morning comes and you wake up with a headache smelling of alcohol and cigarette smoke. Only to realize that your problems are still there, making you feel worse than the night before!

So what do you do when you have come to the end of the road, where do you go from here? Some may try turning to God for answers. Even though it may seem like God doesn't care about you and that He has more important things to worry about than you!

But the good news is that God loves you so much and He is waiting for you to call upon Him!

"But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

Call upon Jesus Christ, who himself said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Only God can take away the pain and burdens your carrying, only He can make a way where there is no way, cry out to Him, the bible says:

"Then shall you call upon me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will hearken to you. And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:12-13.
